Without Linda I wouldn’t be the actor (or person) that I am today. Her commitment, compassion, and belief in others is an inspiration to myself and all those fortunate enough to be blessed in knowing her.

What a beautiful tribute. I read it with a tear in my right eye! Some of my favourite memories are from Mrs. B’s acting room circa 1982. It’s true that Linda Beaven was the best audience a kid could hope for. She made it safe to jump out of one’s confines. She filled the whole auditorium with her accepting presence.

Linda Beaven is who I think of when I think of someone that believed in me as creative spirit when I was in high school. She believed in all of her students and brought out the best in us. She created a sense of community and friendship in her class. I feel that she has given me the strength to believe in the creative process for myself, my son an my partner. I was so lucky to be in her drama class.
